Continuing its groundbreaking direction in the digital audio broadcasting field, PURE is set to launch the Evoke-2XT in August.
An upgraded version of the previous Evoke 2 model, the 2XT features better sound, achieved by redesigning the drive units and filters.
A longer battery life is another significant upgrade. The 2XT can play for more than twice the time of the 2 thanks to better rechargeable batteries and a low-power standby mode.
There will also be a line input for an iPod, CD, minidisk, or MP3 device.
Kevin Dale, general manager, of PURE Digital said: "Evoke-2 XT takes the great sound quality, reception sensitivity, and stylish design cues associated with PURE and combines them into our best stereo digital radio yet."
The digital radio is estimated to cost around £150 per unit with a two-year warranty included.
