Available today is Trust's ST-1200 internet phone station allowing a wireless home telephone to make calls using a computer for free.
The device acts as a go-between from the computer to the phone socket.
With both callers using the right software, they can speak to each other anywhere in the world for no charge except for the price of the station and VoIP software.
Speaking via a computer through the internet is nothing new, but this device works on a wireless phone, so users aren't restricted to a desk.
A switch on the side of the gadget easily changes the phone's use from internet speaking to normal use.
The station comes with a USB cable and an RJ-11 cable, along with a multi-language manual on how to use the device.
Trust's gadget should cost around £32.99 without VoIP software.
