Accor is about to begin welcoming guests to its latest resort-style Sofitel hotel on Renmin Square in the historical city of Xian.
The 423-room, 104 hectare hotel will enable far more people to explore the city's treasures. Xian, located in north-west China hosts the world-famous Terracotta Warriors.
The hotel features eight restaurants and bars, a lounge, therapy rooms, a modern fitness centre, a game room, and an indoor swimming pool.
For more business minded voyagers there are nine meeting rooms capable of accommodating 20 to 150 people, as well as an enormous 1,100 square metre ballroom.
Renmin Square General Manager Michel Molliet said the hotel is a great place for leisure and corporate travellers.
