The easyGroup opened its first London hotel on Monday, with prices starting at £20 a night.
easyGroups website claims the rooms come in three sizes - small, very small and tiny and is upfront about its budget facilities.
The 34 rooms are located between South Kensington and Earls Court; 30 of them have no windows and the tiny rooms measure 60 square feet.
Nevertheless, guests are provided with en-suite bathrooms complete with towels, air conditioning, a double bed and pay-as-you-go television.
This latest development in budget offerings supplements the other easyHotel rooms, which operate in 20,000 hotels worldwide.
Stelios Haji-Ioannou founded the easyGroup in 1995, starting with easyJet, which offered passengers cut-price fares; the tycoon has gone on to develop an empire including easyCar, easyCruise and easyBus.
