The list of titles due for release to coincide with the European launch of Sonys eagerly-awaited PSP (PlayStation Portable) console in September is continuing to grow.
The companys foray into the handheld gaming market will be able to play movies in UMD format.
Sonys delay of the PSPs release in the UK means that the array of films available immediately for gamers has burgeoned and now includes a selection of music titles from Sanctuary Visual Entertainment (SVE), including Iron Maiden Rock in Rio, followed at a later date by INXS Live Baby Live and Bob Marley Live from Santa Barbara, Tech Digest reports.
The PSP features a 4.3 LCD screen on which gamers will be able to play David Lynch classics Dune and Blue Velvet from SVE from the consoles launch date, while a selection of titles already released in the US will also be available.
The wealth of titles already available in the United States in UMD format include Da Ali G Show, Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Ghostbusters, American Pie, Team America, Batman The Movie and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.
