The eagerly awaited The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess' game looks likely to mirror its name and stay in the twilight zone, as it will not be out in the open until 2006, Nintendo announced.
Nintendo will be holding the game back from its previously advertised November launch date in order to "add some incredible new elements" they stated in a press release.
Fans playing the game will have to lead Link, a young farm boy, on an epic journey where he will confront foul creatures in an attempt to dispense with the evil shadow stretching from Hyrule to the surrounding area.
Nintendo have tried to soften the blow by highlighting the other games available to GameCube fans this Christmas such as Mario Smash Football, Battalion Wars and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
However, if you can't wait for Christmas, there is the E3 2005 trailer for the game on Nintendo's website.
