Denon aims to bring 'home cinema with a human face' into a living room near you with its new Smart Life S-101.
Owners of the new product can expect to experience surround sound provided by a 2.1 Dolby virtual speaker system playing a variety of media including DVDs, CDs and iPod tracks. Handily a Denon/Apple 'Connect iPod' is supplied as standard.
The S-101's main controls are touch sensitive in addition to being accessible through a remote control and iPod photos can be viewed on a main TV.
As you'd expect from a model designed with the trend-conscious consumer in mind, the speakers are designed to be flat TV friendly.
Denon claims that all the S-101's features will not detract from ease of use and it will be on general release soon in a sleek silver finish.
The S-101 will cost £849.99 and the next model the S-301, which has even higher audio and visual performance, will follow hot on its heels.
