Ever wondered what to do with your beloved equine friend whilst away on holiday?
Well the British Horse Society is all set to released the latest version of its 'Bed and Breakfast for Horses' guide in spring 2006.
The guide caters for all kinds of riders, from those travelling long distances, to race competitors and those simply taking their horse for a change of scenery.
Whilst its primary concern is the housing of horses, the guide also includes listings for owners when equestrian establishments don't provide such accommodation.
Equestrian tourism is not limited to those in the UK: overseas visitors frequently decide to ride the UK or even to take lessons for the first time here and likewise, Britons can undertake the same kinds of activities abroad which could make a welcome change from relying on the car.
The current edition of "Bed and Breakfast for Horses" is available from the British Horse Society's bookshop or from its online bookshop.
