Maybe it was only a matter of time, but Nikon has announced its new Wi-Fi enabled cameras.
With the rest of technology merging, in an era where mobile phones can act as televisions, games consoles and cameras, this latest advance does not come as a surprise.
Nikon's Coolpix P1 and P2 have made history as the world's first Wi-Fi enabled digital cameras. They allow users to snap a shot and immediately transmit them to a computer without the need for wires.
In addition to wireless shooting, wireless printing, using PictBridge-compatible printers, will become possible.
The P1 offers an impressive 8.0 megapixels, whilst the P2 offers 5.1. Both models have a 3.5x optical zoom lense, 16 scene modes and a 2.5-inch LCD.
Additional features include blur warning, in-camera red-eye fix and D lighting, which can automatically correct the exposure of photos to make them lighter.
The P1 will retail for £350, whereas the P2 can be yours for £280.
