Sometimes holidays abroad are just too stressful when you have a young family to look out for.
PGL Travel, a company specialising in adventure holidays for children, has announced the launch of a new holiday programme for the whole family.
"Family Active" holidays will take place during August, based at the Dalguise centre in Perthshire, which lies on the edge of the Craigvinean Forest in the heart of Scotland's "big tree" country.
A huge range of activities will be on offer, from abseiling to archery and mountain biking to motorsports, creating the ideal experience for families with a sense of adventure.
Families can find a home-from-home in the basic but comfortable lodges, situated in the grounds of the main house overlooking the River Tey.
The idyllic location will also suit wildlife lovers, with red squirrels, deer and even osprey frequenting the woodland.
Prices start at £189 per adult and £99 per child, for a full-board four-night stay, with activities, instruction and evening entertainment included.
